Laura started at Mitchams as a Trainee Accountant in 2005, having completed her education at Holyrood Community School in Chard. She has always been keen to develop her knowledge and understanding of the accountancy profession, achieving the AAT Accounting Qualification in August 2008 and passing her Association of Chartered Certified Accountants exams in August 2014, before gaining membership to the ACCA in September 2015. In recognition of her commitment to developing her skills and understanding and her desire to progress her career, Laura was made an Accounts & Tax Manager in February 2014.
Laura is responsible for the preparation and finalisation of individuals, partnerships and limited company accounts, tax returns and VAT returns. She works with a range of clients and has always demonstrated willingness and enthusiasm. Her cheerful and approachable manner make her a real asset to the firm as she builds lasting relationships with the clients she manages.
