Michael Parsons FCA profile image

Michael was born and brought up in Somerset and was educated at Crewkerne Grammar School before joining Mitchams in 1967. He qualified as a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales in 1974 and became a Fellow of the Institute in 1979. Throughout his career Michael has gained a vast wealth of knowledge and understanding of specialist tax issues, and has dedicated himself to ensuring our clients receive the best advice and service in relation to their tax affairs.

His dedication to the company and our clients led to his appointment as a Partner in 1980. During his time as Partner he developed and progressed the company, nurtured the next generation of staff and built long standing relationships with our clients, achievements which he vigorously continues at Mitchams today in his role as Consultant.

Michael specialises in tax planning including Inheritance Tax, Capital Gains Tax and Income Tax and works with numerous onshore and offshore trusts for high net worth clients. He also advises individuals and local businesses, many in the agricultural sector, on a wide range of tax and accountancy issues.
