Tim Maclelllan, FCCA ACA profile image

Tim grew up in Crewkerne, where he attended Wadham Community School, before subsequently moving to Yeovil. After completing his school education, Tim began his accountancy career at a practice based in Crewkerne, before starting work for Mitchams in 1998. Tim’s drive and motivation to develop his knowledge and understanding was quickly recognised and contributed significantly towards him achieving membership to the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants in 2003 and subsequently becoming an FCCA in 2008. His continued development in the profession was further recognised by achieving membership to the ICAEW and becoming a Registered Auditor in 2010.

Tim’s willingness to develop his knowledge and understanding and his commitment to his clients was rewarded in 2003 when he became a Manager in the business. It was further recognised in September 2010 when he was nominated to become a Director. Always looking to further himself and the services that he can offer to his clients, Tim has most recently completed his Probate exams which enable him to advise clients on a range of non-contentious probate issues.

As a specialist in Inheritance Tax, Capital Gains Tax and Income Tax planning, Tim works with a number of trusts and high net worth clients. He also advises many local and small businesses and individuals on a wealth of accountancy and tax issues. His approachable manner and his exceptional knowledge provide his clients with an invaluable resource. Tim thrives on providing his clients with an accessible and exceptional service in conjunction with our Management team.
